Our relationship with Great Clips, Inc. began in 1985 when representatives from the company approached Salon Innovations looking for a facility to warehouse their Private Label product line, as well as to carry some sundries required in the salon business.
Great Clips had approximately 60 salons at that time, Salon Innovations had just 7 employees-it was a perfect fit. Both companies were small and flexible, open to all sorts of future possibilities and willing to nurture each other's special needs.
Great Clips grew rapidly, and quickly became our number one customer. As they grew so did Salon Innovations. Constantly striving to provide them with the resources they needed to achieve their phenomenal rate of growth, Salon Innovations began to fill niches for them that other distributors wouldn't.
We started manufacturing the Great Clips product line, we orchestrated a product program tailored to fit the Great Clip's Salons' unique requirements. We offered Franchisees and Stylists discounts off of regular salon costs. We also began shipping nationally and even opened two additional warehouses to insure prompt shipping times. In 1995 we stopped serving as a full service distributor all together and committed all of our resources exclusively to Great Clips.Because our entire business is built around the success of Great Clips, we provide advantages for the Franchisee and Stylists that other distributors don't.
For instance, we have become a one stop shop for them. Which combines the convenience of one call to make and one bill to track.
Furthermore, everything we distribute has been previously approved by Great Clips Corporate, which means our customers can be confident that we won't sell them unnecessary items. Lastly, and more importantly, we're a nice group of people who are willing to work extra hard to make sure that our customers our happy!
